Casa Labetxea has a lovely garden, with trees, a barbecue, and patio furniture.

The house is located in the high part of the village of Baraibar, a perfect little rural village to de-stress, rejuvenate and enjoy a quiet and relaxing holiday.

You'll have a storage area adjoining the house available also, where you can store bikes, prams/baby carriages, etc...

Right in the village is a typical Basque frontón, where the traditional game of Jai Alai (or pelota) is played. Children love to play in this beautiful, covered frontón once they discover what you can do there -- it can be hard to get them to leave!

Right down the road from Casa Labetxea, past the frontón, is the Asador Galartza III steakhouse where you can indulge in the famed gastronomy (that's good eating to you and me!) of the Basque Country right at your doorstep. The Basques are world-famous for knowing how to indulge the culinary pleasures! Just check the number of Michelin-starred restaurants in San Sebastián, for instance. But you needn't go to the most expensive restaurants to find excellent food! Eating out in this area is almost always truly a delight.

The geographical location of Casa Labetxea country cottage, right between Pamplona and Donostia-San Sebastián and only 3kms. (2mi.) off the A-15 motorway, is marvellously convenient, making it possible to reach all the many fascinating corners of Navarre, the whole coast of Gipuzkoa (San Sebastián, Getaria...) and the French Basque Country (Biarritz, St. Jean de Luz...) very quickly by car.
